This is a convenience translation of the German privacy policy. In case of doubt, the German version applies.
Protecting your data matters to us. This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website and when you contact us, what we use it for and which rights you have.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Logic-Repair (Softwareentwicklung)Owner: Christoph Niehof
Carl-Zeiss-Str. 3
89231 Neu-Ulm, Germany
Email: info@logic-repair.de

2. In brief
- This website does not set any cookies. Anonymous reach measurement only takes place with your consent (section 4).
- Fonts, scripts and images are loaded exclusively from our own server. No content from third-party providers is embedded.
- We only process personal data when you contact us, and for technical reasons in server log files.
- The website is hosted in Germany.
3. Hosting and server log files
Hosting provider
This website is operated by Timme Hosting GmbH & Co. KG, Marie-Curie-Straße 5, 21337 Lüneburg, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. The hosting provider processes data on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
Which data is collected
Every time the website is accessed, the web server automatically processes data transmitted by your browser and stores it in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- the page or file requested and the method used
- HTTP status code and amount of data transferred
- the website you came from (referrer), if your browser sends it
- browser type, browser version and operating system (user agent)
Purpose, legal basis and storage period
The processing is necessary to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security and to trace attacks or errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and error-free operation). The log data is not combined with other data and is not stored longer than necessary for these purposes. It is deleted afterwards.
4. Cookies and reach measurement
No cookies
We do not set any cookies. We do not use advertising networks, social media plugins, embedded maps or videos, or external fonts. All content of the site comes from our own server.
Anonymous reach measurement with Umami (only with your consent)
If you agree, we anonymously measure how this website is used, for example how many visitors come and which pages they view. For this we use the open-source software Umami. We operate it ourselves on a server of Timme Hosting in Germany (stats.logic-repair.de). No third party receives this data; the hosting provider processes it solely on our behalf.
Consent: The measurement script is only loaded after you have chosen “Allow” in the notice. Without your consent, no measurement takes place. We store your decision only in your browser (local storage) and ask again after twelve months. You can change or withdraw it at any time via “Statistics settings” in the footer. The measurement also respects your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting.
Data processed: the page viewed, the page you came from (referrer), browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, approximate country of origin and time of the visit. In addition, we count events, for example a click on “Reserve a demo” or the submission of the contact form. The contents of the form are not transmitted. Your IP address is not stored. It is processed only briefly to derive the country and an anonymous identifier from it; this identifier is used to group several page views and changes regularly. No cookies are set, and there is no tracking across other websites.
Legal basis and storage period: The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). The evaluations do not contain names or contact details. We delete them after 26 months.
5. Contact form
Which data we collect
If you use the contact form, we process the following details:
- Required fields: request, name, repair shop or company, email address, phone number
- Optional fields: number of employees, interest in a plan, your message
- time of the inquiry
We need the required fields to reach you personally and to prepare your inquiry sensibly, for example for a demo or a trial.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the details to answer your inquiry and, where applicable, to prepare an offer, a demo or a trial. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is aimed at concluding a contract or concerns a contract. In all other cases it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering inquiries).
Technical process
Your input is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS). The website’s server forwards your inquiry by email to our mailbox. There is no database for form inquiries; the inquiry is not stored permanently on the website. The email is sent via our email service provider (see section 7).
Protection against misuse
To protect the form against automated requests (spam), we use an additional field that is invisible to humans, a minimum completion time and a limit on the number of requests per period. For this purpose your IP address is cached in the server’s memory for at most one hour and is not stored permanently. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protecting against misuse).
Storage period
We delete your inquiry as soon as it has been fully processed and no further correspondence is to be expected, but no later than six months after the correspondence has ended. If a contract is concluded, we keep business letters and contract documents for as long as commercial and tax law require (currently six years under Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO), longer for accounting records).
6. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you give us, for example your name, phone number, email address and the content of the message. We only use them to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if a contract or its preparation is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The information in section 5 applies to storage and deletion.
7. Email service provider (Google Workspace)
We use Google Workspace to receive and manage our emails. For customers in the European Economic Area, the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes the emails and the data they contain on our behalf. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR (Cloud Data Processing Addendum).
Processing by Google’s affiliated companies in the USA cannot be ruled out. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) and on the standard contractual clauses agreed by Google (Art. 46 GDPR). The legal basis for using this provider is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in efficient and secure email communication) or point (b), insofar as contract-related communication is concerned.
8. Recipients of your data
Your data is only received by those bodies that need it to fulfil the stated purposes: our hosting provider (section 3) and our email service provider (section 7), both as processors. Beyond that, we only pass on data if we are legally obliged to do so, for example by order of an authority, or if you have expressly consented.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights. You can exercise them at any time, without any formalities, using the contact details in section 1:
- Access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
Right to object
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your data that is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:
Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA)Promenade 18
91522 Ansbach, Germany
www.lda.bayern.de
10. Obligation to provide data, automated decisions
You can use the website without providing personal data. To answer your inquiry we need the details marked as required in the form. Without them we cannot process your inquiry. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
11. Data security
The website is only accessible via an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we continuously adapt them to the state of the art.
12. Scope
This policy applies to this website. The use of the Logic Repair software by customers is governed by the respective contract and the data processing agreement. If we link to websites of other providers, their privacy notices apply there.
13. Changes
We will adapt this policy if the website, the services used or the legal situation change. The version published here applies.
